Worship
These ministries encourage and provide service opportunities for spiritual development so all members can grow in holiness.
LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
These ministers are appointed by the pastor to serve the community by distributing Communion, bread and wine, at the Sunday Liturgies and at other sacramental celebrations of the parish. Eucharistic ministers of the host serve on a simple rotation. Ministers of the Cup serve on the second Sunday of each month. The Director of Worship or priest provides training and ongoing support and education.

USHERS
The ushers, along with the greeters, offer a welcome to all who come to worship. They represent the assembly as they gather our gifts and bring them to the altar. Ushers establish order, assist in emergencies, and provide help to people who are elderly or handicapped who may find it difficult to enter or exit the Church building.

GREETERS
The greeters provide a warm welcome at the entrances of the church to all who come for prayer. Greeters are scheduled at the Mass of their choice and may serve alone or with one or more friends or family members. Parishioners of all ages may be greeters. Training is provided in person or by telephone. The requirements for greeter are an inviting smile and the willingness to speak a hearty welcome to all.

SACRISTANS *
This group prepares the altar and the articles used at the celebration of Sunday Mass, freeing our priests for prayer and quiet before they preside at Eucharist. Sacristans are trained and supported by the Director of Worship and priests and serve at the Mass of their choice one month at a time.
